We were once again treated to a visit, to lead our Sunday service, from the Rev�d Pam Nicholson.
Due to the Rev�d Jane Bury being on holiday, Pam Nicholson was asked to cover this Sunday�s service.
Having our own vicar again, it�s been some time since we have seen Pam at our service. Her services, during the interregnum, were a source of strength and encouragement to the congregation at Higham, as her regular visits and leadership maintained everyone�s spirits.
Pam always leads with a sermon that gets to the heart of daily life and the challenges that everyone meets. Added to this she blends things with a self deprecating style of good humour, that enables us all to see reflected in our day to day experiences.
Her visits to St. John�s see her welcomed as a cherished friend, as well as a respected parish priest. Her retirement from full time ministry only seems to have given her even greater energy to enliven her calling
